Biography

I grew up in Southern California and completed my undergraduate degree in English at the University of California at Berkeley. After earning my medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, I moved to Washington, DC to complete five years of Orthopaedic Surgery training at the George Washington School of Medicine. I then spent an additional year of training in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.

While at UCLA, I received special training in the treatment of Dupuytren’s Disease. This technique is called needle aponeurotomy (or needle fasciotomy or N.A.). This office-based procedure allows for the correction of significant contractures with minimally invasive techniques. More information is available on this website.

I came to Peoria, IL with my wife, Abigail, and our two children. Abigail, a Peoria native, is a practicing Podiatric surgeon . She specializes in the treatment of disorders of the foot and ankle. Away from work, I enjoy bicycling, speed-skating, golf, spending time with his family, and surfing.
