How do you survive with only one arm?

An injury or surgery to the arm or hand may affect your ability to use that limb for a period of time. Because we are accustomed to using both arms without limitation, having only one good limb can make life significantly difficult. A recently published book give strategies that can make coping with life one-handed easier.  The author clearly speaks from experience, having suffered a stroke as a young adult, causing her to adapt her activities so that she could complete basic activities of daily living with one hand.  I appreciate the fact the book is spiral bound, which allows the book to lie flat, making it easier to read one-handed.
